Every four years we get to see the magnificent process that our government goes through in order to pick a new president; along with an inside look at how our government operates. Not this year. People have no idea on who to vote for this year: none of the candidates seem like the right choice. However, now that the candidates have been narrowed down to the two major candidates, people need to make a choice. If I could vote, I would pick Hillary Clinton because she is the best candidate currently running for president. When people think of a president they think of a strong, wise leader when I think of Donald Trump I don’t think any of those things. A president needs to be in control of emotions and be able to calmly lead the country through terrifying situations. Gary Johnson and Donald Trump have both lost it many times during their rallies, letting their emotions take over in order to defend their egos. Personally, I feel that the person who has access to missiles should not be ruled by their egos and emotions. Hillary however, can keep control over her emotions and she has more experience than the other candidates, as secretary of state she helped deal with many leaders of other countries. The other candidates, especially Donald Trump, have no experience dealing with such important issues and have no plans for their foreign policy. Sure they say that they have a “policy” but most of them are impractical or simply not there. Donald Trump for example has simply never stated a clear policy besides “The Wall” that he plans to build, which would do nothing to permanently stop the flow of illegal immigrants and is impractical.
