He’s not depressed he’s bored. The 39 deaths of Adam Strand is a book by Gregory Galloway is a young adult book that mainly focuses on this boy who has killed himself so many times now that he’s become a famous person in his small town. The tone of the book doesn’t seem like how the cover of the book would sound like most of the time. It can be a serious/comedic moment in the book at any time even though this person dies many times over and over. I’d recommend the book to people that like hearing about death but this book in my opinion is a 3 out of 5.I think that the authors main idea is to be able to entertain because if this was a autobiography then we wouldn’t even be able to read this book. His effect on his family has had a really bad impact because when they used to do normal family stuff like hunting or going out to eat he thinks of a way to kill himself and so now his family is afraid to go out because they might see death. Adam says, “I am a young boy who enjoys having fun with his family and friends in a small time to do but the only difference that separates me from all the others, I have killed myself 39 times.”.
