This video includes competencies pertaining to communications, roles, teamwork, and ethical practice. After the team’s discussion, decision-making takes place. Better patient outcomes are encouraged through the improvement of the work environment by IPCP. Barriers in interprofessional collaboration practice stem from difficulties in improving interpersonal communication. The challenges of team communication arise from differing priorities, backgrounds, and beliefs. Effective IPCP might be impeded by the workspace, where equipment and interactions happen. The gathering and communication of healthcare professionals presents the biggest challenge.
