Napoleon is a really intelligent pig. He was not really active during the revolution because he was rising his power secretly, he appeared after the rebellion took place. In my point of view, Napoleon had no interest in what was really happening in the farm, all he was looking for is his control over it. Generally, Napoleon is looking for power and control, but he does not care about the animals comfort and needs. In the farm, the pigs were the ones who were in control, old major was a pig as well. The story begins by the death of old major after talking and inspiring the animals about the rebellion. Then, the rebellion took place and they got rid of Mr. Jones who was the owner of the farm, who made the animals suffer and did not give them enough food.
