This is as “The Shot Heard ‘Round The World.” To this day, no one is quite sure which side fired first, the British or the Colonists. I believe that the British fired first upon the Colonists.
Georgia 's most heralded female participant during the Revolutionary War was Nancy Hart. An earnest patriot, Hart gained reputation during the revolution for her determined efforts to disembarrass the area of Tories, English soldiers, and British sympathizers. Six feet tall, very sinewy, and a proclivity to expeditious anger ; Nancy heart became a spy for the colonial militia who captured, and surprised many loyalists during the American Revolution. Being able to dress up as a man and pull it off, she spied on the British and got information to assail them indiscriminately.
They thought that the colonists were to be debt to them even though they provided many things, such as a huge amount of money, men, and clothing to the British. In return, the colonists got less things back. They got little compensation, and were even taxed a lot after the war. That had must been hard for the colonists. They must have felt really mad and angry for receiving such a small compensation back for what they have done to support the British military.

The forces that led Americans to declare war on Britain in 1812 were impressment of american sailors, problems with the natives, and the War Hawks. Impressment is the kidnapping American Sailors and forcing them to serve in the British Navy. Although the problems with the natives were obviously the americans’ fault, the settlers blamed the British for supplying them weapons and inciting them to attack. Then there are these western politicians who wanted war so that they can gain the Canadian territory. Americans didn’t declare war on just these three causes, but they were the main causes that pushed for this war.
In the years 1765-1785 three major events occurred in the effort of independence between the Colonies and Britain. The total outcome being the American Revolution; (a political upheaval that took place between 1765 and 1785 causing a overthrowing of the authority of Great Britain, and the founding of the United States of America.) Three distinct reasons that caused and accumulated colonist into the full-scale rebellion consist of political, economic, and Social reasons. Although there were various causes towards these events in history the two most impactful causes would be political and economic reasons that went throughout and led the independence movement, seven years war, and lastly the American Revolution. The American Revolutionary defined what our country is today and gave us our freedoms. Without these significant events throughout our American history we would not have our modern day society. The official start of the war was in 1775 at the Battle of Lexington and Concord when the first shots were fired. Although that was the official start, there was much more tension and build up beforehand. After the Seven Years’ War, Britain was in over their heads in debt and therefore they decided to raise taxes in order to help pay it off, but the colonists were not happy about that.

The Revolutionary War happened form 1775-1783. One of the first major events of the Revolutionary War was the Battles of Lexington and Concord. Hundreds of British troops attacked the colonists’ military stores in Concord on April 18, 1775. The result of this battle was the British lost and were removed from Boston; however they did win the Battle of Lexington. Another major event was when the Declaration of Independence was established.
The British colonized the eastern seaboard of America during the 17th and 8th centuries. However, the colonies were not contented with the British government. The disatisfaction of the colonist towards the British government led to a continuous back and forth of revolts; thus leading to laws attempting to affix the colonies. These laws inevitably induced the rise of the American Revolution. The demand for no taxation without representation supported the colonies abhor for British tyranny, forgather the colonist, and symbolized the pressure colonial leaders placed on a republican form of government.
The Americans were fighting for their homeland and their freedom. They were fighting for their cause, and that inspired troops to not only join the army but fight their heart out for their freedom. The British, on the other hand, were taken across the sea on ships to quiet down a misbehaving part of the empire. A farmer defending the freedom of his family fights much harder than a soldier getting paid to do his job. George Washington reminded the troops of the of the personal nature of their struggle for freedom when addressing his troops in 1776.
When going back to the late 1700s, not too long after the ending of the Revolutionary War, is when it is first noted that the government had to step into the economy. Over the course of the war, America had very low funds and could hardly supply necessities for the soldiers. Due to this, Congress ended up accepting loans from France. By the end of the war, however, the United States could not afford to pay back the debts they now owed France. The government was aware by this point that they only had few options.
