Rhetorical Analysis Of Barack Obama's Statue Of Rosa Parks

In Barack Obama’s speech, he talks about the impact that Rosa Parks had on our world, he delivers this speech for the world to hear. The statue is important to keep up because, like he mentioned, she shows us “that we all have responsibilities to ourselves and to one another”. Barack Obama uses pathos, logos, anecdotes and to effectively convey the statue of Rosa Parks to let it be known why it’s important to have her statue up. Obama uses pathos to help the listeners understand the significance of the stature, he mentions that Rosa Parks used no excuse to not stand up for what's right. We should be able to do it like she did, “and we make excuses for inaction and we say to ourselves, that’s not my responsibility, there’s nothing I can do.”
