Picture back to 2007, the US was in a devastating recession and people were losing their jobs. America feared it was going into another Great Depression, as America had toiled through it a century ago. On November 4th, 2008, a former senate and hopeful man took the podium at the Democratic National Convention in Denver. This man hoped to clear up any problems America was struggling through in attempt to provide the penniless people with hope. Obama uses strategies such as using motivations of other Americans to influence hope and change into others, and he also attempts to make Americans feel safe by acknowledging the accomplishment of a past president. the thought of education towards young Americans by using himself as an example.
