In this story, there is the wealthy and poor type of people. One thing they do have in common though is death because everyone will eventually die. This short story, “The Masque of the Red Death” by Edgar Allan Poe, explains how Prince Prospero was trying to avoid a disease that is killing victims very quickly in a very disturbing way. Prince Prospero was one of those people, who wanted to live for eternity.
