Former President, Barack Obama, in his inauguration speech, speaks on behalf of our economic downfall. Throughout his speech, his intentions were to give America comfort and to inspire and reassure us of a better lifestyle. Furthermore, his tone gained confidence, had passion, and gave off determination for our economy. In all, Obama’s inauguration speech adequately refuted the American people by using repetition, imagery, similes, and metaphors in order to properly induce our nation to help him achieve his goals. Obama consistently spoke about different cultures and how he wanted to connect and work with other countries.
