PRELIMINARY STATEMENT Rosemary Henderson was arraigned in Yolo County Superior Court on May 30, 2016, for allegedly violation Health & Safety Code § 11379, subd. (a). Henderson pleaded not guilty and pursuant to Penal Code § 1538.5, moved to suppress the fruits of the search –the two baggies and the statements she made- arguing that the search of the trunk exceed the scope of any consent she had given. The trial court denied the motion. Henderson then withdrew her not guilty plea and pled guilty to the sale of a controlled substance.

Upon discovering that someone felt “joy” or “excitement” upon hearing what happened to her, I would say that they were suffering ill thoughts as a result of their vice or possible negative character trait, if other factors add up.

One trait Rayna Dubose used to overcome her obstacle is her courage. For example, in the article,” Against All Odds,” Keith Mills writes,” Struggle... Dubose’s ordeal was the superbowl of struggle…with artificial arms and leg, she had to relearn how to do everything all over again, walk, drive, eat, call, and type on a computer.” This shows that even though Rayna has gotten artificial legs and arms, she has the courage to continue to study because studying requires your brain not your arms or legs.
