Richard Milhous Nixon - Biography Sivany Kathir On January 9th, 1913 in Yorba, Linda California, Frank and Hannah Milhous Nixon gave birth to their second child, Richard Milhous Nixon. The Nixon’s lived a very troubled life. Two of his brothers past away due to separate illnesses as Richard was a child and they lived a poor life. "We were poor, but the glory of it was we didn't know it." This impacted him in his childhood, especially in high school, in which he did excelled in school and was offered a Harvard scholarship, but had to reject due to living and travelling expenses.
