Richard Ramirez also known as The Night Stalker was a serial rapist, and also a Satan worshiper. He stalked people and broke into their homes while they were sleep and had a plan how to kill them based off their gender. Ramirez was a conflicted individual whose actions lead to extreme heartbreak for numerous families. Richard was a Mexican-American who was born on February 29, 1960 in El Paso, Texas. He had five siblings and was the youngest of them all. Ramirez had a pretty normal childhood. His father had even said that he was a “good child”. It was even so bad that often Mike showed Richard how to kill animals. When Ramirez reached the age of four-teen he knew how to use a lot of weapons especially a knife. Richard also liked to smoke marijuana with his older cousin. Mike’s wife wasn’t proud of the example he was setting for Richard and let him know. Mike didn’t take to criticism so well and shot his wife right in front of Richard. Even though Mike went to jail it didn’t stop Ramirez from being a troubled teen. He went from a promising student to a pot-head in a short time period. Richard dropped out of school and got a job at a local hotel. While working at the hotel he was beat by a man for trying to rape his wife. Ramirez was arrested but was given a sentence that wasn’t bad. His parents couldn’t take the stress or heartache that Richard brought to the house so they kicked him out forcing him to go live with his sister. At this time he was living like a bum, all he did was smoke pot and live off of junk food. He also bad hygiene and his teeth were rotting from all the junk food he was consuming.
