A. Catch Sentence: Books introduce new ideas and different ways of thinking. Books have been known to increase knowledge on details that have been half understood.
B. Thesis: Richard Wright demonstrated that reading books gives a different understanding of the surroundings and how books changed a black young man.
C. In today’s culture there should not be any racism or discrimination, but unfortunately it stills occurs in today’s society.
