The main character in the book Black Boy Richard Wright was a very curious boy. He was always wanting to know more about what was going on in the world. In the book ,when he was young, he saw a white man beating a black boy. Richard thought that the man was the boy’s father. He thought that only parents could beat their children. When his mother told him the man was not the boy’s father this just made him even more curious. When Richard grew older he worked with a black man who would let white people abuse him for money. This was also very curious to Richard, because he could not understand why he would let people abuse him for money. Both of these incidences show Richards curiosity.
