Incoming! There was a report of a small church fire at Windrix Hill, Oklahoma. The fire started at 2:00 pm on Friday 1965. It was reported as being caused by a burning cigarette left on the floor. Three boys, Ponyboy Curtis, Johnny Cade, and Dallas Minston were on the run for a murder of a Soc named Bob Sheldon.
Rocks are heated underneath the crust then pushed out through a volcano or the oceanic plate. The rock substance that becomes the crust will deposit back underneath the crust. All of the process can be credited to the dynamic nature of Earth.
In Murry Taylor’s memoir titled Jumping Fire, Taylor takes readers to the Alaskan Wilderness where he and other firefighters parachute from planes to fight forest fires. These individuals are smokejumpers. Written from 1992 to 2000 the story documents a summer firefighting season in a diary style narrative. The author became an active smokejumper in 1965 and upon his retirement in 2000 was the oldest active smokejumper and the oldest to ever do the job. Taylor willingly jumped out of an airplane 355 times, with 200 being actually down to a burning fire.
On September 13th, 1967 a fire took place in a church in Windrixville, there were some children playing in the church when it caught fire, there teenage boys saved their lives. There was a school picnic planned that day of the fire. Some of the students were disobeying their teachers. Those children were the ones in the fire. This fire took place at a shirtwaist factory in Manhattan, New York City. 146 workers’ lives were taken during the fire from smoke inhalation while trapped inside with limited ways out, and other fatalities occurred from employees jumping out of windows nine to ten floors high.
Through out the history of the United States, a number of incidents and disasters have occurred to influence safety and protection. In the aftermath of these events, valuable lessons are learned and steps are taken to ensure nothing like that happens again. One such incident is the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory fire, one of the most influential and horrifying incidents in United States history. The fact that both the National Fire Prevention Association (NFPA) and National Safety Council (NSC) trace their history back to this incident speaks to that. Sadly, the tragic events that unfolded during the Triangle fire were not surprising.
On May 18th, 1980, Mount Saint Helen, a volcano in Washington erupted majorly. The eruption is the most studied volcano eruption. Mt. St. Helen was known as one of the most prestige volcanoes in the Cascade Range before its eruption on May 18, 1980. The eruption made a big blast that destroyed the northern part of the volcano, crushing millions of the trees below the mountain. The zone was further described as a big debris avalanche.
Sherpa fire in Santa Barbara grows to 4,000 acres overnight, putting about 140 homes at risk and closing down major freeways according to federal officials. The fire started on Wednesday afternoon on coastal hills north of Santa Barbara. It had moved through overgrown hillsides and canyons that have not been burned in over 60 years because of the hot and dry weather and notorious “sundowner” winds. Sundowners, similar to Santa Ana winds, fuel many of the fires in the Santa Barbara County.

The Great Fire of Chicago that occurred in 1871 is undeniably a crucial event in the history of the United States. This devastating fire not only destroyed a significant part of the city but also left many people without homes and caused extensive damage to businesses. However, despite the catastrophic impact of the fire, Chicago could rebuild and appear stronger than before. The fire, which began in a barn owned by Patrick and Catherine O'Leary, is still shrouded in mystery as the exact cause of the fire is still being debated. Some theories suggest that a cow knocked over a lantern, while others attribute it to men playing cards.

When the volcano is going to blow up, the dust and cloud “feel like a curtain,” which make Julia stay at home, revealing the isolation between her life and the outside world.
I am going to tell you about some of them and you may want to visit them. The first one I am going to talk about is the Lava tube. Lava tubes are underground paths that are burnt by lakes of molten lava. They are formed by an erupting volcano which has lava flowing down it, the lava burns in the ground and creates a Lava tube, the most famous Lava tube is the Thruston lava tube.
Hot spots are significantly small spots that have a higher temperature than other surrounding areas. The Big Island has a hot spot under its active volcanoes, and Oahu have them under the land too. Second, both Big Island and Oahu has volcanoes. For example, the Big Island has volcanoes like Kilauea and Mauna Loa and on the other hand, Oahu has volcanoes like Diamond Head. Lastly, both islands have beaches.
The most famous volcano in the world (Vesuvius) Mount Vesuvius is a volcanic mountain that is located east of the city of Naples and it considered as the only rebellious volcano in Europe as well as other volcanoes in the Italian islands. This volcano is famous by its eruption in 79 AD, which led to the destruction and burial of the Romanian cities Pompeii and Herculaneum and several other settlements, and continued for 16 years. The volcano buried the city with ash for 1,600 years until it was discovered in the eighteenth century. The volcano eruption begins in the afternoon of August 24 in 79, causing mounting clouds of smoke covered the sun and turned day into total darkness.
