The death of over 60 million people had brought to fore not only humanity’s capacity for annihilation, but it’s great capacity for cruelty as well. In the healing process of the world, there were many times where desperation, nihilism, bitterness and hatred seemed an option. This is why people like Robert F Kennedy need to be remembered. It is because giving up is always an option that people who don’t serve as a beacon of hope for us all. Robert F. In his version of the illusion, Kennedy is believed to have disagreed with the said victory over the enemy by the fact that the there was a massive infiltration of arms of men in the areas that were densely populated. The understanding of the government in relation to the nature of the war was therefore misconceived on the account that they failed to bring to bar the infiltration. In fact, the government learned about the infiltration from the members of public indicating their lapse in terms of protecting the people. In his own conviction, Kennedy firmly believed that American had sown their failures in relation to how they dealt or responded to the war by applying a military tactic to a problem whose solution lay with the conviction and the will of the South Vietnamese people. In this regard, Kennedy criticized the government for applying the wrong strategy and expecting an end of the war. Kennedy too posed critics to the government for believing that it could win the war that was largely an affair of the Vietnamese with its roots in the country’s history but the Vietnam could not win. In this regard, Kennedy termed the viewpoint as misplaced because with it (viewpoint) in place, American only ended up Americanizing the war that had its roots in the Vietnam’s history. The concept of the South Vietnamese ineptitude and corruption was first indicated by Kennedy’s brother in his refugee report. In this regard, Kennedy addressed the issue of graft in Saigon, which contributed significantly to the reason why the government failed to gather enough support against the war. Corruption was so rampant in the South Vietnam’s government to the extent that it almost touched on every level of the official life. Corruption hand in the Vietnam War led to the loss of thousands and millions of public fund that was stolen by both public and private institutions and individuals. At the height of the graft, the Americans were being forced to pay heavy taxes to finance the war but the money was stolen. To Kennedy, the money that was being stolen did not only have an impact on the war, but also to the American people, because it was money from their pockets. Kennedy opined that the move by the USA government Saigon government failed terribly because if the height of the corruption and the realization that people were fighting, but the money that was allocated for the operations only ended up in the pockets of few generals.
