Frost was an imaginative little kid. Frost would hear voices and see things when left alone. This gave Frost more to write about as Frost grew up. Growing up as an imaginative child can affect how Frost acted as an adult and also what Frost wrote about. Frost was born on March 26, 1874 in San Francisco, California.(McMahon) Frost is the son of William Prescott and Isabell Frost.(McMahon) Frost had one sibling and that was Jeanie. (Defusco) Frost graduated from Lawrence High School in 1892. Frost was also co-valedictorian with Elinor White. Frost later married Elinor in 1895.(Frost, Robert, Lee) Within 12 years Frost and Elinor had 6 children.(Robert Frost) The children were four daughters Lesley, Irma, Marjorie, and Elinor Bettina, and two sons Elliot and Carol.(McMahon) Frost then spent two years in Harvard from 1897 to 1899. Frost later enrolled in Dartmouth College but left soon after the year started.(Frost, Robert, Lee) Sadly Elliot died of cholera at the age of three in 1900 right after Lesley was born.(McMahon) Frost’s mother then dies of cancer in 1900.
