Robert Frost's Nothing Gold Can Stay

Robert Frost wrote Nothing gold Can Stay in 1923. Frost out of fear that the world would end. He did not publish the whole poem and modified the first part. By not publishing the entier peice that leads me to belive that he may have feard voicing his words or it was written for a specific audience. It was written in an anitwar movment.
The poem is a narrative.
It was set arounf where a garden was but the exact location was not given. It says gold is naturse first green as well as gold being gold. It dose have a balence, It starts with talking about life and living gold but then it ends talking about greif or death in a way and saying gold is going away.

The Character is Gold.Gold is representing life and what happen during life.Another charaacter is Nature. Nature is having truble hold onto Gold. I think Nature is reopersenting a person having troble holding onto life.
I think the reader is suppose to fill in what gold is and what it syimbolizes.
Nothing Gold Can Stay dose not have any cultural detail that I can see.
The poem is fantasy,it uses made up characters played by things in nature that have been given personification to move the story. The characters actually don't exist and are just colors and plants
The tone was calm and joyful and then sank to saddness. The mood of the poem was happy until it got to the bottom stanza and then it was sad.
The subject is lossing a life. The author is showing us by using nature how greving feels. Frost uses personification through the whole poem to show the theme.
I think the poem walks,the rythem is paced. The rythem dose relate quite well with the theme.The rythem dose not change,it keepd the same past through the whole
