For this week’s journal, I decided to create a drawing for the poem, “The Road Not Taken” by Robert Frost. I wanted to draw a picture after reading this poem because I personally imagined a scene in my mind of two dirt roads. I was able to depict this image in my imagination because Robert Frost used various literary techniques when composing this poem. Frost also references nature during this poem and in my opinion the woods specifically. Although this poem can be portrayed differently to each reader. I personally imagined someone came to a fork in the road while in the woods, specifically on a fall day. Since in the poem, Frost writes about being “in a yellow wood.” That is why I chose a variety of yellow hues for the leaves when drawing
