Since the start of the Cold War, people have been afraid from a bomb like no other in history. Nuclear warfare struck lives of many every since the end of World War II which ended by a atom bomb dropped on Japan wiping out everything in its path. Cormac Mccarthy was a passionate writer and was inspired and terrified by this idea and wrote the Marvelous story The Road. Even though some might disagree with the powerful reality of a possible post apocalyptic hazard.
In everyday life, there are so many people worth to love and worth for giving them much affection. But have you ever thought, who is your dearest? For everyone, the answer may be grandparents, mothers, siblings or friends. For the boy in McCarthy's novel,"The Road", his father's image will forever be the sacred fire that warms his soul forever. "The Road" written by McCarthy not only about the relationship between a father and his son but also about the contradiction in itself every human.
Everyone has had to make a tough decision in their life before. In The Road, the man comes across a very tough decision of whether to help the man and child on the road, or not. The man decides not to help them and to only stay with his son. The man is right in not helping them for multiple reasons. First, he can not trust them, in this post apocalyptic world they cannot trust anyone because they might turn out to be cannibals.
Resulting in deaths of black people of all ages. The stereotypes that portray black people as dangerous and savage has persisted decades after its creation and now more than ever even though its results aren’t the same and slavery has been abolished black people continue to suffer the consequences in various forms. From being afraid of black people because they seem suspicious, to believing that the victim of this whole situation are the dangerous ones when in reality they were part of such vile and very well planned atrocity to cover the real criminals of taking over the world. I am of course not saying that white people are all criminals and do not intend to say that whites are the ones that should be suffering all the misfortunes that black
Robert Frost is a well known and experienced poet. He was born March 26, 1874 and died January 29, 1963. Robert started writing poetry in high school His first published poem, My Butterfly:an Elegy” was published on November 8, 1894. Robert wrote poetry up to the end of his life. He last published “The Clearing” a collection of poems, including the poem he recited for JFK’s inauguration, in 1962, less than a year before he died.

The road is considered to be a symbol of his multiple life decisions. When you first read the poem your first instinct is to think that the “traveler” just needs to pick a path to take; but it has a greater meaning. The fact that Frost chose to use this symbol to portray the message makes us have a clear idea of what he is going through. Towards the end of the poem, Frost shows signs of regret because of the road he chose, it shows us how in life a decision can really impact your life and can shape who you are as a person and what type of person you become. The use of symbolism in this poem is basically what leads you into understanding what it’s really trying to say.

The speaker,a young man, takes a stroll along a road. Eventually,he reaches a point in which the road diverges into two.
Throughout this poem, Robert Frost uses extended metaphors to convey that every human has a path that causes them to constantly make choices that will continue to shape their lives. In the first lines of the poem, Frost states, “Two roads diverged in a yellow wood/ And sorry I could not travel both” (Lines 1-2). Immediately, the idea is established that the speaker has to make a decision.
In the poem called, “The Road Not Taken ” their is a similar theme like, “It is impossible to be certain about things,” because the traveler wasn't so sure which road to pick since he doesn't always choose his decisions. Like for example in the poem, “And sorry I could not travel both” (Frost 2) The traveler is saying that he is sorry that he can’t travel both that he only gets to travel one even though he wants to travel both. This relates to the theme I choose because he needs to travel one even though he wants to travel both of them because he is uncertain which road to go to.
In the poem, “The Road Not Taken,” Robert Frost uses beautifully crafted metaphors, imagery, and tone to convey a theme that all people are presented with choices in life, some of which are life-altering, so one should heavily way the options in order to make the best choices possible. Frost uses metaphors to develop the theme that life 's journey sometimes presents difficult choices, and the future is many times determined by these choices. Throughout the poem, Frost uses these metaphors to illustrate life 's path and the fork in the road to represent an opportunity to make a choice. One of the most salient metaphors in the poem is the fork in the road. Frost describes the split as, “Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, and sorry I could not travel both (“The Road Not Taken,” lines 1-2).
The poem The Road Not Taken has been misinterpreted in many ways. For started the poem is about a person whom was walking down a yellow brick road. While the person is walking down the road he or she notice a split between the road leading through two different path. The person decided to make a choice by looking as far as he or she could through both road and chooses the one that was less traveled by.
The poem ‘The Road Not Taken’ by Robert Frost was about a decision. Two inviting roads existed in front of the speaker, but he could only choose one to travel in the rest of his life. No one knew which road was better or what’s waiting for him in the future, there seemed plenty of imaginary spaces left to the audiences. However, instead of focused on the importance of his finally choice: the road taken, more attentions was given to the given up choice: the road not taken. The writer’s opinion was explicitly showed in the title ‘The Road Not Taken’; which meant from the very beginning it was a poem about lost, not gain.
Frost utilizes analogous imagery throughout his poems; specifically in this poem, he uses natural imagery like the woods and roads to signify these themes. The woods represent indecision and instinct. Everywhere in literature, the plots of novels and poems alike contain characters lost in the woods. Similarly, in “The Road Not Taken”, the woods represent indecision while an adrift traveler wanders lost in the woods (Rukhaya). The poem, “The Road Not Taken” by Robert Frost states that in life we come upon many decisions, and there are points where we have to let fate take the lead. “The Road Not Taken” uses two paths as a symbol of a life decision. To understand this poem you have to have understanding of life’s meaning. The author helps us better understand the message by his use of tone and literary devices such as metaphors and symbolism. In this poem we come to realize that life is a combination of decisions and fate.
