Everyone want to know is how to have the perfect loving relationship? The key to having a success/perfect relationship accord to Robert Sternberg’s triangular theory of love has three components: intimacy, passion and commitment. Intimacy is the common bound with you have with that person. As well you share your secrets, no attraction and serious commitment you just like each other. Passion is also known as infatuation where it happens fast and it does not tend to last long. Is that you have attracted to them when you see that person. As well it based on attraction and chemisty.Commitment is to see yourself with that person for the rest of your life. Linking is having intimacy ,Sternberg says that this intimate liking characterizes true friendship,in which a person feels a boundedness.Companionate is imitmacy and commitment .For example it often found in marriage that the passion gone out of marriage . Sternberg’s theory of love is seen in movies and in television shows. My favorite television shows of all times are Gossip girl, Friends, One tree hill and vampire Diaries. Each of these shows is example of Sternberg’s theory of love. The one show that I going to talk about Gossip girl. The character of Chuck and Blair their relationship is really strong and its really silly to say it but I want someone that would love me the way chuck loves Blair .There relationship is a Romantic love/ Consummate . Chuck was mean to Blair at the start because he was repressing his feelings for her. Blair: Chuck! Stop! Don't go.
