Robin Williams was a well known successful T.V and Movie star Williams was best known for his comedy roles as he was known to enjoy making others laugh since at a young age he would dream of becoming a stand-up comedy but one-night hep changed that into something bigger. Williams has been through good times and the bad times and he would attempt to help others out of that time before himself Robin Williams was born to Robert Williams and Laurie Williams on July 21, 1951, in Chicago, Illinois and is the youngest of three children, his older brothers are Robert Todd Williams and McLaughlin Smith Williams. A year later in 1978, Robin played a character named Mork in the hit TV show Happy Days gaining so much success with his characters Williams and his co-star characters from Happy Days became a spin-off show called Mork and Mindy making it the next hip T.V series that ran for five years ending in 1982. After Mork and Mindy, Williams began working in more leading roles in Hollywood films focused on comic and dramatic roles and guest starring on popular T.V series and movies he was known to be a guest star in Eight is Enough or as the main character Popeye in the movie 'Popeye', He's most knowable work 'Good Will Hunting' one of his most dramatic character roles he won an Academy Award for best-supporting actor and in 1979 he won a Grammy Award for his work on his live comedy show called ‘Reality… What a Concept’ . Later Robin started performing one-man-stand up comedies in 2008. Robin's life is soon spiraled into the world of alcohol and drug abuse, Robin would struggle with this addiction for around two decades of his life "I just thought, hey, maybe drinking will help. Because " I felt alone and afraid. It was that thing of working so much and going ... Maybe that will help. And it was the worst thing in the world" (Los Angeles Times, 2014). After the birth of his first child, Robin started to realize it was time for him to stop with the drugs and alcohol and got help to stop 1983 "That was before they'd started to acknowledge it was psychologically addicting. And then at a certain point, you realize, maybe it is. Physically I'm not craving it, but mentally I'm really thinking it might be a good idea." (Los Angeles Times, 2014). On August 11, 2014, Robin Williams would later be fully succumbed to his depression and be found in his home bedroom by his personal assistant in Tiburon, California dying of asphyxiation due to hanging as Williams was rushed to the hospital the he was pronounced dead on arrival It was also stated by authorities and medical examiners that before his death that he would attempt to make other methods of taking his life before finally
