Rodeo Mornings The sound of the alarm clock going off and the sound of the horses neighing is what most of us hear every morning. Rodeo mornings are always crazy, so much to do in so little time. Some people say the rodeo life is easy, but most don't realize all the hard work that really goes into it. The beginning of a busy weekend consists of, getting up at the crack of dawn getting the horses fed, gathering up all the equipment/ tack and making sure we have everything we need because there is no time to turn around if we forgot something. Once we get our tack and everything loaded in the trailer it’s time to hook up the truck and trailer and make sure the tire pressure is good, and then it’s time to get the horses from the barn and wrap their legs and get them loaded in the trailer so we can get on the road. The joy of having a hauling partner is they are in charge of the radio and playing good music and helping with the directions so that we don’t get lost. Seeing all the trailers that are already there and trying to find a spot to park can be hectic. Sometimes the parking isn’t the greatest, and we have to park in the worst spots because of it being too crowded. After parking, we go look at the arena and see if it’s muddy, dry, and if there are any banners or things that might scare our horses. Seeing how the alley way is laid out is a must, especially if you have a horse that doesn't like the alley way. Knowing what we have to do in order to get the horse into the arena to make our run is helpful and it keeps us and everyone else safe . After we're done looking at the arena, we go and get signed up. We grab our cards and fill them out with all of our information,we put what events we're going to be doing and grab our numbers and hand the announcer our cards and
