How Can Power be controlled using books you might ask yourself but when you think about it, Without books there is NO WAY that the current generation to know about the past and not make the same mistakes as the past did. Books are the key to society and who ever writes books are the scribes to attest to all that are living in this time to tell future generations of our trials and tribulations our heartaches and our pains. It shows the Future Generations our discoveries and how to run on with them to continue the human race. To not rely on technology to learn everything about the past for the internet is just like a chameleon it is deceiving and can be altered and censored to the liking of someone behind a monitor. ,Although in Fahrenheit 451 they burn books, they do not know why they do so. They burn the books because the government wants you to not know about the joys of literature such as shakespeare and Thomas Middleton who wrote not for the sake of it but because they enjoyed it. There was a huge battle for the parent of a African Student who went to a Texas Public School to have McGraw-Hill to alter their textbooks over the dispute. Eventually, the company agreed to alter the textbooks to be more accurate. McGraw-Hill attempted to censor/Alter history for the slaves and their hard journey to the United States back then.
