When Victor finally goes to away for a little while his family said to keep writing so they wouldn’t be worried about him all the time. But on the other hand when Victor got so obsessed with reanimation of life he forgot to write to his family to keep them up to date and to keep them from worrying. When a year passed Victor has succeeded in reanimating life from dead body parts, then it finally hits him that he shouldn’t have done that, but it’s too late. Victor then passes out from exhaustion and lack of sleep. His best friend Clerval nursed him back to health after he had found Victor wandering in the streets mumbling to himself. After a few months when Victory finally awakes his best friend Clerval Tells him his father and dear cousin Elizabeth sent him letters, showing that they are very worried about Victor. In this part is where the family role comes in and shows how much Victor means to his family and how much the care and worry about him when he does not write back because of his project. Then when the Creature finally got the courage to step up and talk to one of the family members, the family member he speaks to is the old blind man that knew he was living in the pig pen listening and always watching over the Delacy Family. In the movie Mary Shelley's Frankenstein he create watched over them like a secret guardian angel would, the creature picked the frozen vegetables for the Delacy family so they would not have to sell or give any of their animals away in trade for more food. But when the creature finally got the courage to talk to the blind man while the rest of the family was out, the Delacy’s landlord was going to evict them then their landlord pushed the old blind man down, then that’s when the creature came to help the old man up and threw the landlord because he was protect the old man from getting hurt more. When the rest of the Delacy family came home because they heard a scream and they probably thought it was the old man but it was the landlord, they came home and they got scared of the creature even though he was only protecting them and trying to help them. The point I am making is that the creature never really knew the Delacy family but he looked
