Romans Values The Romans were defined by the three values which are the eclecticism, practicality, and imperialism. The values defined the Romans world view a fact which made them unique and influential. Eclecticism is a both philosophy and theology world. The new encyclopedia defines eclecticism as “the practice of selecting and compiling doctrines from different systems of thought, without adopting the entire parent system for each doctrine”.
