Romeo and Juliet and their comparison of love creates a story like no other, a story that makes love feel irresistible in some ways. Romeo, a montague and Juliet, a Capulet, both have love for each other that is not meant to be, because of their family’s conflict between each other. Their family’s fight, have arguments, talk behind each other's backs and more that is unspoken of, but even through all of this both younglings of different sides love each other. The story that will be told today will be about both loves that Romeo has or once had, and how they both compare and contrast. The fight between thoughts in Romeo’s head are steady but loose. He once loved a girl named Rosealine, “once,” but now he loves a girl named Juliet. Juliet is a person that Romeo should not be trying to get along with because of their family’s conflicts and differences but to Romeo and Juliet, love is all that matters in hard times. Sure they may look different, act different but one of the main differences is that one is montague and the other is a capulet. Meaning that one is okay to marry, and the other could have consequences if married, two different families that have fights almost all the time and Romeo thinks it's a good idea to marry a person from the opposing family. Here’s a statement from act II, line 45, “With Rosaline, father? No, I have forgotten that girl and all the sadness she brought me.” This statement shows the sadness that Romeo obtained from Roseline because of the way she acted towards him.
