Blood Is On The Hands Of Three The play starts out with the prologue stating that the households fighting caused the deaths of Romeo and Juliet, but there are actually three people responsible for it. William Shakespeare is the author of The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet. The main events that occurred in the story started out by two head houses in Verona fighting. Their fighting caused the love between their children to be difficult. The teens willing to do anything to be together, would see each other sneakily. The love they shared caused many deaths and confusion between houses. It all ended when Juliet fakes her death because she does not want to marry someone her father ordered her to. Lord Capulet and Juliet are arguing on her marrying Paris. Lord Capulet then says, ¨To go with Paris to Saint Peter's church,/Or I will drag thee on a hurdle thither¨(3.5.155-156). Him saying this to Juliet, makes her feel betrayed and lead her to find a way to get out of the forced marriage. If Capulet would have been more steady and nice about the whole situation, Juliet might have told her parents what was going on. But, because he was raging with anger, Juliet felt like she had just been thrown to the wolves; She did not have the mindset of even thinking to bring Romeo up. Friar John could not send the message because he could not leave the town for the reason that a plague broke out. Romeo is on his way to see Juliet’s grave because he does not know she is actually just sleeping. “I could not send it-here it is again-/Nor get a messenger to bring it thee,/So fearful were they of infection”(5.2.14-16). If John would have delivered the message, Romeo would know the plan and he would know that Juliet is sleeping and not dead. When he got there he was not informed of the plan and so he killed himself, causing Juliet to wake up and then kill herself. John should have sent someone already outside of the town with the letter to give to
