A of Romeo’s hasty choices that Destructively has a huge impact on his life In a fair society, everyone has a right to make choices. If people don’t make choices then their society/ leaders would be corrupt. They all need to make good choices or it will have a severe impact on their lives. In the play Romeo and Juliet, written by William Shakespeare the character, Romeo teaches that when individuals may think that they have found true love, they may be hasty with their life choices. Then they will make mistakes that will result in extreme consequences. Because of their choices, the impact could be so severe that it may destroy them. Romeo marries his enemy and ignores the intuition he has, causing Romeo to have to deal with extreme punishments that will significantly change his life for the worse. After Romeo proclaims his love for Juliet and decides to marry her, he goes to the friar and convinces the priest to marr the lovers. The, Friar agrees that if they marry then their “ households’ rancour”will return “to pure love.” (2.3.93) He believes that if these two young couples marry, that will end the family feud between the Capulets and Montague. Not only that, but the friar is ignoring the consequences. Romeo is being very hasty with his choices, and he is marrying his enemy without the consent of his parents.
