Who is truly to blame for Romeo and Juliet's unexpected and untimely death? Who out of all of the possible suspects could it be? What of those who were most involved in the situation? The people who seem to be most involved in the story are the Friar Lawrence, The families and parents of Romeo and Juliet, and even Fate. To understand the situation and the problem at hand, you have to view the basic facts and truths of the “star crossed lovers”. Romeo and Juliet have shown that they have intense love for each other, that becomes apparent when we see that they would die to be with each other. This couple shows and opens the eyes of their dearest ones to stop fighting with one another and open their hearts to one another. In the beginning of the story we are introduced to “two households both alike in dignity.” (document A), The Montagues and the Capulets. The friar according to the documents seem to be the real cause of their death, He is the one who gave the idea to marry romeo and juliet because he wanted peace between the Montagues and the Capulets, he also gives them the bad plan to take the potion and romeo also never got the letter due to a lot of pressure, but that is not the case. The friar was the secondary problem as the parents are seen before the resortion to the friar due to juliet's parents forcing her to marry paris in the first place. The friar agrees to help juliet according to document C titled “ I'll thy assistant be”. The friar agrees to give Juliet a remedy to make her seem dead so she won't have to marry Paris and then the Friar would send a letter off to Romeo informing him of the plan, which was never received.
