In the story of “The tragedy of Romeo and Juliet”, their death lies upon three people to blame in the city of Verona. The three are Lady Capulet, Juliet’s mother, second is Friar Lawrence the botanist, and the third one is the feud between the two families of Montague and Capulet. Romeo is a Montague and Juliet is the Capulet. The first person to blame the death of Romeo and Juliet is Lady Capulet, Juliet’s mother. Juliet does not wish or had thought about getting married so quickly. As the speaks to Juliet she says “Marry, that ‘marry’’ is that the very theme I came to talk of. While romeo has lost his feelings for Rosaline, Friar is involved. Friar knows Romeo, he also knows of Juliet, he agrees to marry them off secretly. Since Romeo and Friar has such a close relationship, Romeo likes to think of Friar as his father to him. Since Friar marries romeo and Juliet, Friar thinks this will end the feud between both of their families, the montague and Capulets. As for Juliet, she is getting married to Paris in a few days, Juliet calls for help to Friar. Juliet does not wish to get married to Paris, since she had married Romeo, and still, no one has found out. Friar helps Juliet, friar gives Juliet a potion to drink, this will make her look dead for two days, when she is actually sleeping. Romeo is been banished from Verona because of two deaths, Tybalt and Mercutio. While Juliet has drunk this, romeo has no clue what is going on. Friar sends a letter, as he send this letter, he send out Friar John a messenger to give his letter to Romeo, but it does not get to him. He says “ Who bare my letter, then, to Romeo? Friar John: I could not send it,-her it is again-... Friar Lawrence: Unhappy fortune! By my brotherhood, the letter was not ice but full of charge od dear import, and the neglecting it may do much danger…” (DBQ project: who is to blame, document E). As Friar Lawrence find out that Friar John does not send this message he fears that bad things will happen.
