Duality commonly is explained as complete opposites. For example, good and evil, happy and depressed, hot and cold and so on. It’s a concept visible everywhere if you look for it. Many of these problems exist in our own head as a mental disorder. One best known is DID, Dissociative Personality Disorder. According to the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, DID consists of the “presence of two or more distinct personality states.” The personalities a man could be affected with may be quite brash and unpleasant, while another could be as nice as a grandmother with cookies.
