To begin the essay of The fatal events of Romeo and Juliet, Romeo is the one and only son of Lord and Lady Montague, once stating he loves Juliet and will do anything to be with her, “I’ll keep standing here, even if you keep forgetting. I’ll forget that I have any home besides this spot right here. ” (II.ii.177-178). This shows how much Romeo is willing to do for Juliet even if he just had met her. Paris says to Juliet that they will get married soon as possible because Tybalt’s death has made her sad and getting married will cheer her up, “in his wisdom hastes our marriage To stop the inundation of her tears— Which, too much minded by herself alone, May be put from her by society. Now do you know the reason of this haste.” (IIII.i.11-15). By Romeo killing Tybalt for Revenge for Mercutio he has been banished from Verona and now Lord Capulet has forced Juliet to marry Paris. Friar Lawrence or Juliet can not stop the marriage from happening. Paris then wants to rush the marriage so Juliet can be happy again and get over Tybalt’s death. Romeo’s rage from when Tybalt killed Mercutio made Romeo infuriated and made him kill Tybalt and then he ran away. Therefore the result of killing Tybalt got him banished from Verona and had to run away to Mantua he tried getting help from Friar Lawrence but he was acting selfish. The Nurse went out of her way to help Romeo get up to Juliet’s Room without knowing and without him getting caught, “How camest thou hither, tell me, and wherefore? The orchard walls are high and hard to climb, And the place death, considering who thou art, If any of my kinsmen find thee here.”. Romeo got into her Room, but she didn’t know him at the time and started questioning him. She told him that if any of her relatives found him in her room that they would kill.
