Not all people fall in love at first sight, but in many ways is possible. Leigh Fallon once said, “This is going to sound crazy, but… from the moment I first set eyes on you I haven’t been able to stop thinking about you.” In the play Romeo And Juliet, The play writer William Shakespeare convinces his audience that Romeo and Juliet fall in love at first sight. One way William Shakespeare shows their love at first sight, Is by Romeo using items/things to tell how beautiful Juliet’s is and why he likes her. Secondly, on (pgs71-3) Romeo hears juliet on the balcony. Juliet has a soliloquy and she says “Tis but thy name that is my enemy. Thou art thyself, though not a Montague. What’s Montague? It is nor hand, nore foot, Nor arm, nor face, nor any other part Belonging to a man. O, be some other name!” What Juliet is saying is that its Romeo name and who he is, Is why it not a good idea to talk to Romeo because Capilets and Montagues don’t get along with each other. But Romeo hears her sililoquy and says that he will no longer be Romeo or a Montague because he wants to be with juliet. “I take thee at thy word. Call me but love, and I’ll be new baptized; Henceforth I never will be Romeo.” Romeo will remove his name and be someone diffrent just for Juliet. Thirdly, on (pg113), Romeo and Juliet get married the next day after the Capulet dance. When Juliet arrives Friar Laurence speaks, “Come, come with me, and we will make short work; For, by your leaves, you shall not say alone Till Holy Church incorporate two in one.” Friar Laurence then makes Romeo and Juliet a married couple, Note this is a day after the capulet dance, Romeo and Juliet have only known each other for a
