Emotions, the main contributor to any story and the deciding factor for many life choices. Many determine this to be fate’s control over one another. In the classic tragedy. Romeo and Juliet By William Shakespeare it is seen that their reliance in fate is based on their impulsive actions.Through the play Romeo’s anger and Juliet’s stubborn action causes significant problems in their divided world. Romeo’s and Juliet’s emotional and impulsive behavior lead to the death of these star crossed lovers.

Later, in the story as Romeo fled to Mantua, Juliet is supposed to take the hand of County Paris. We learn of the prince’s anger towards this feud ignoring one another's plight and in doing so he avoids giving Romeo the capital punishment. Talking to both lords He says “ And for that offence/ Immediately we do exile him hence,” For what the crime he committed, He shall be banished from Verona, effective immediately. From the death of Mercutio to now his lack of control and anger has been the cause of his anguish in marriage and exile. As grievance for tybalt sets in for the Capulet household. Juliet appears as an outlet for the joy and is then forced to marry Paris 2 years prematurely to the father’s previous arrangement. But now Juliet disobeys her father and wish not marry Paris. Capulet’s response shakes the vary notion of his character before, he says” Day, night, hour, tide, time, work, play, two alone, incompany, still, have care, hath been courtship to have her match’d and having now provided.” (Act 4,scene 5) for every day and night spent on herr attention and care. All for her to marry one noble man yet she refuse the advances that were given provided. This expresses the pent up anger of the lord and his new idea of happiness after Tybalt’s death.Which is all a result of Romeo’s incompetence and impulsive nature.
