Tybalt believes in honoring his family name and continuing the argument between the Montagues. The flames on the mask symbolize Tybalt’s hot-headed personality and his passion for terminating Romeo for attending the Capulet party. Tybalt discovers that Romeo has crashed the Capulet party and has informed Lord Capulet:
