Tybalt discovers that Romeo has crashed the Capulet party and has informed Lord Capulet:

Evidently, Tybalt seeks revenge on Romeo because he crashes the Capulet party. The studs on the mask portray his protective nature for his family and the Capulet name. Tybalt continues the feud between both families because he takes pride in the Capulet name and wants to defend it. The blood dripping down the mask symbolically represents Tybalt’s his violent solutions. Benvolio attempts to break up the fight, however, Tybalt believes that their families should fight:
