Romeo and Juliet is a wonderful play . There are three versions of it . the first one an Italian movie of 1968 , a movie performed by Leonardo dicaprio and a Broadway play of 2014 . All of them are different, but equals at the same time and I am going to explain that by describing each one of them. The first movie was done in 1968 , it was performed by a 14 year old girl and a 16 years old boy . Also the first one is very traditional. they act different. they have a nude scene, and their actors are actually the age they are supposed to be, not like in the others . in the movie of 1996 they kiss in a pool , that does not happen in the others. Other things is that the authors change a lot of things in the second and third version like places , conversations etc and i think is because times change and people want to see new stuff like new ways to dress , funny conversations etc, but people also want to see the same story because is a beautiful story and yes is tragic and i know a lot of people that wish they change the end but if you stop and think about it the story does not make sense if they don 't die because their death is what make their families realize about their mistakes and you can 't just change a play like that . Now they change things but they also keep the most important scenes like the balcony scene . The death scene change in the second one when Juliet kill herself with a gun because in the original play she does it with a knife . I also think that maybe they did not really love each other that much i mean they were kids you don 't know what love is when you are 14 or 16 years old may be romeo just wanted to spend the night with juliet and maybe juliet just didn 't like Paris because of
