My Essay: William Shakespeare, born in April 1564, is the greatest English poet, playwright, and actor. Nothing is more famous than his book Romeo and Juliet, 1594-1596. Between the feud of two families, the Capulet and the Montague families, there is a secret love. A secret love of mine. One from each family. Romeo, part of the Montague family, and Juliet, part of the Capulet family, risk their lives for love. The book is filled with death, love, revenge, and hatred. Juliet has to decide whether to be loyal to her family by following their wishes and marrying Paris or to follow her genuine desire to stay with Romeo, although it is forbidden. This scene shows the influence of family in Romeo and Juliet on the Capulet side, especially when it comes to love and true feelings. Juliet's parents are choosing who she has to be with for the rest of her life, influencing her passion and the decisions she has to make later on. In this part of the book, Shakespeare lays out Juliet's choices but, at the same time, attempts to show what choice she will make without telling us, conveying her true feelings.
