Romeo and Juliet is a tragedy written by William Shakespeare early in his career about two young lover whose death helps their families reconciliation. This is Shakespeare's most popular play during his lifetime, along with Hamlet. Romeo and Juliet belongs to a tradition of tragic romances, going back to antiquity. Romeo and Juliet has been adapted numerous times for stage, film, musical, and opera. The play set is in Verona, begins with a street fight between Montague and Capulets servants. Benvolio and Mercutio stop the fight, Tybalt fights them. After the swords are sheathed Verona’s prince comes up to the scene and says that the next person who fights will get killed. Along the fight comes Romeo, who's having a bad time suffering over a girl named Rosaline. His cousin Benvolio assures him to forget about Rosaline, reminding him that there's more fish in the ocean. Some people speculate that he he died on April 23rd of 1616, at the age of of around 52, unknown causes, in Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire, England.
