One of my favorite genres are action and tragedy because I find them the most interesting to read or watch. Romeo and Juliet fall into the category of tragedy, romance and drama. Even though Romeo and Juliet are considered to be a tragedy in the story, play, and movie there are several parts that show drama, action, tragedy and romance. The main idea in Romeo and Juliet is their love. Their love triumphs over hate. Romeo and Juliet are the best example of a tragedy because Romeo and Juliet were young lovers who had to face many obstacles for their love even though it leads them to their own death. Juliet and Romeo had their first and last night together. Juliet’s mother walks in on Juliet after Romeo had left and tells her she will be marrying Paris in two days and Juliet disagreed. Lord Capulet tells Juliet she will marry Paris or else he would kick her out to the street and let her starve. Juliet turns to her mother for help but isn’t lucky.
