Blame is a psychological thing that the human brain does when it doesn’t want to feel responsible. The reason people resort to blame is because they don’t want to take part in the consequences that come about due to their own decisions. In Romeo and Juliet, blame is a prominent factor, exampled by the Capulet/Montague feud and by Tybalt’s and Mercutio’s tempers. In the book “It’s not my Fault: The No Excuse Plan for Overcoming Life’s Obstacles” by Dr. Henry Cloud and Dr. Townsend, there is a quote that cautions, “We live in a culture of blame.

Tybalt Juliet's cousin from Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet is all and more of these words used to describe him. And Tybalt is a hateful, bold, and demanding character that love nothing more than to see Romeo killed. Tybalt is an insanely hateful character especially towards Romeo and his household.
What is the relationship between circumstances and that which is just? A personś circumstances are better the more justly they are treated. Sometimes poor circumstances can make somebody do unjust things. This was demonstrated in both Romeo and Juliet and Animal Farm.
In the tragic play of Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare, i believe that the parents of Romeo and Juliet are to blame when it comes to the deaths of them. To begin I think that they are at fault because if the families did not have a feud with the other Romeo and Juliet would have been able to get married with no problems. And it is proved in this quote, “From ancient grudge break to new mutiny” (prologue.3 I think this because without the feud they would have been able to be married and not keep it from their parents and without the feud Tybalt would not have fought Romeo and he would not have been banished Next I would say that they were raised to not like the other family so it makes things very hard to get married. And you can tell
Bryce Boydon Allison Siggard English 9 15 May 2024 The Cycle of Hatred In the fight to defend your values, there is always one reason that persists through every one of these fights, it is why you and the opposing side can’t agree, and that is Pride. In Romeo and Juliet, members from both feuding families took pride in their name, believing they were better than the opposing family. This feud led members to believe they must fight to defend their family name against the opposing family. In this feud, during the fight to assert dominance, violence erupted arising from hatred for the other family, which was instilled into their family's beliefs.
Character Defense: Romeo We perceive that Romeo is innocent due to his apparent love for Tybalt and his clear disesteem to the brawl unfolding. He wanted to advent the violence thrust upon him by his love (Tybalt). He cared too much to fight him but when a good life-long friend, Mercutio, is murdered in front of his very eyes he is shaken to the core. He did this while not in the correct state of mind, cleary in a haze of sorrow and guilt not yet fully comprehending the effects of his actions. His gentle altercation with Tybalt defines his love for his friends and family.
Blood Is On The Hands Of Three The play starts out with the prologue stating that the households fighting caused the deaths of Romeo and Juliet, but there are actually three people responsible for it. William Shakespeare is the author of The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet. The main events that occurred in the story started out by two head houses in Verona fighting. Their fighting caused the love between their children to be difficult.

No action is free of consequences, and the decisions made throughout an individuals life can make or break the following course of events.
Families hate toward one another can lead to serious consequences like death. Indeed this paradox is explored in William Shakespeare’s famous play, “The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet,” as he introduces Juliet, a young beautiful teenage girl from the Capulet family who falls in love with Romeo, a handsome and attractive young boy from the Montague family. In the beginning of the play, both the Capulet and Montague family hate each other. In the following play Romeo gets to meet Juliet at a masquerade party held at Juliet’s home. This is where Romeo along with Juliet fall in love with one another and later on decide it’s
“The road to hell is paved with good intentions”- Samuel Johnson. This quote symbolizes that good intentions can have horrible consequences. There is an equal and opposite reaction to every decision made in Romeo and Juliet. The thesis statement that will be used is that no matter if the decision is good their is always a disastrous outcome that results. Life is never what it seems actions made by good people have a way of turning awful.
In Shakespeares play, Romeo and Juliet, Juliet is portrayed as a strong independent woman who takes control of her own fate instead of letting others dictate it for her. Juliet throughout the play constantly shows how smart and strong she is. She makes decisions that she wants to make instead of making decisions that others want to make for her. She doesn’t let others control her and her fate, and executes many acts of bravery and intelligence to demonstrate this. At the beginning of Act IV, Juliet panics because of Romeo's banishment.
Romeo’s initial infatuation with Rosaline and his eagerness for her love indicate his desire to prove his worthiness as a man. However, when he stumbles upon Juliet and falls deeply in love, his sense of pride intertwines with his search for honor. After Mercutio, Romeo’s friend, is stabbed to death by Tybalt, Romeo proclaims, “Either thou or I, or both, must go with him” (III.3, 120). Romeo’s actions are driven by a desire to protect Juliet’s honor and retaliate against Mercutio’s death. His deluded sense of honor leads to the tragic climax of the play when Romeo kills Tybalt and is later banished from Verona due to his emotional state.
In every Shakespeare play there is always tragic hero. In the play Romeo and Juliet, Romeo is a tragic hero that sacrifices his life for his love for Juliet. Romeo is a tragic hero in my eyes because his family is very wealthy and has a high status. His downfall was mostly his fault. Lastly the fall of Romeo and Juliet was not pure loss because the feud between the families ended.
