Imagine a tale of young love ending in tragedy. The story of Romeo and Juliet is a play written by William Shakespeare about two teens who fall in love with each other at their own demise. The play is set in Verona Italy in the 15th century. There’s two families, Montagues and Capulets, that hate each other very much. The feud between the two families has caused much chaos in the city and many fights have broken out. Romeo from the Montagues and Juliet from Capulets. The two fall in love but are forced to keep it secret and act like they hate each other, but their secret love leads to their death. The Capulets are to blame for the death of Romeo and Juliet because they forced Juliet to get married to Paris and because they moved the wedding date so she couldn’t do her plan; Yet, some people believe that it was Friar Laurence’s fault because he married Romeo and Juliet without anyone knowing. …show more content…

Juliet was told by her mother the morning after sneaking Romeo in to sleep with him, “Marry, my child, early next Thursday morn The gallant, young, and noble gentleman, The County Paris, at Saint Peter’s Church Shall happily make thee there a joyful bride.” Juliet was upset by the news but couldn’t say why and she went on about how she could never marry anyone and if she were to marry it would be Romeo whom she “hates”.
