William Shakespeare’s well-known play, Romeo and Juliet, has been around for hundreds of years. These two main characters fell in love and got married. Romeo and Juliet were forbidden to see each other, so they made a choice to meet up which led to their deaths. Romeo and Juliet’s own choices prompt to the terrible fallout of their deaths. One of Romeo’s first bad decisions was when he decided to go the Capulet party. Romeo saw Juliet and was hesitant at first. Then after a while he was mesmerized by her looks. Romeo should’ve known better not to go. The Capulet’s servant told Romeo and Benvolio about the party that was being held that evening. Mercutio chooses to fight Tybalt when he calls for him to draw (Shakespeare 434). Romeo’s reason to kill Tybalt was because Tybalt killed Mercutio which he called family because he was married to Juliet. Juliet and Mercutio were cousins.
