Romeo had returned from Mantua and saw Juliet lying down believing she was dead. He was in despair. Not only had he been banished but the love of his life, lies lifeless before him. He lied next to her in sorrow. As he lies down with his darling Juliet, he leans down to give his love one last kiss.
Romeo & Juliet Romeo got the message that Juliet has Taken a Potion to make her sleep for 42 hours and when she awakes they would waste no time and move to Montua. In Act V when Romeo looked at Juliet and kissed her lips, he should have realized her skin and lips were still rose with blood. However, all of these dreadful things did indeed happen. In the beginning, if Juliet told Lord Capulet, that she liked Romeo Montague this would have kept miscommunication from happening. Lord Capulet thought Romeo was a gentleman.
So now just a few days later the Friar believes Romeo knows what love is now. He didn't know with Rosaline who he believed he loved so much but the Friar believes he knows with Juliet. The Friar doesn't seem to see the flaws in Romeo's so called love. Lastly, the Friar came up with a ridiculous plan to try and fix what he screwed up. He gave Juliet the sleep inducing potion and a plan then telling her he would send word to Romeo.
