Cop 223 (Qwie)- He is shameless, stupid guy who is very optimistic but also acts hopeless in the same time as in a ‘hopeless Romeo’. He is not ready to accept the isolated life, he often chats himself that shows how lonely he feels, he believes that everything comes with an expiry date so does his relationship, he buys pineapples with an expiry date of May 1 when is his birthday, so here he sets a timeline for himself to deal with the breakup, from these particular scenes we can understand his notions of romance is very cheesy and it also establishes Qwie’s hopeless romantic characteristics. He places a cosmic importance on those damn pineapple tins, a meaningless display that his ex girlfriend neither knows nor cares about that allows the polie officer to shape himself into the hero of his own personal narrative. At one point the flatness of the character irritates, audience might lose patience on him. He was also very much emotionally derailed. He was desperate to have girlfriend or a companion that he didn’t even try to know a stranger (the blond wig woman) but just fall in love. The character of Qwie is seemed to be very flat; there is no interesting facts that would contrast his character. He is a regular policeman who is desperate to get out of his loneliness.
