Once upon a time, in the ancient city-state of Argos, there lived a boy named Goran Varelas. He lived alone with his mother, who was nice and cared for him. But sadly, all of the boys teased him that he didn’t have a father. He wanted revenge. He pestered his mother, and she finally told him that his father was Apollo, the god of the sun. He then realized that as a son of Apollo, and wanted to be a hero. He set out on a long journey, to the great temple of the sun, which was commanded by Apollo. It was located in Thebes, so he had a long way to walk from Argos. He walked with only his faithful dog, and a walking stick. He soon encountered a bandit. They killed a few pirates, ate a lot of food, and even earned more money! But suddenly, a few miles before Thebes, there appeared a giant. The giant bellowed “Die puny demigods!” Goran and Cyrus turned to one another, and nodded. They leaped at the giant. With their demigod powers, they fought bravely, but sadly, giant can only be killed by a god and a demigod working together. Cyrus died in the fight, and Goran was injured. The ship’s navigator was great, so Goran escaped with Cyrus’s body. Goran wept over his friend’s dead body, and swore for revenge. He marched to the temple of Apollo. He demanded Apollo to help him revenge Cyrus. Apollo, knowing that he has never personally met his son, decided to do him a solid. Together, the father and son marched toward the giant. The giant laughed at Goran, but was frightened when he saw Apollo. He tried to run away, but Apollo, being a god, was too quick. He quickly used his godly strength and speed to bring the giant down. Goran finished the giant of, and the duo smashed the giant to the ground as hard as they could. It was so deep, it hit magma. Lava started flowing out of the giant’s body, creating the first ever volcano. Today the volcano still exists, and is called “Methana”. Goran was impressed by his journey, and was happy to meet his father. He sacrificed the body of Cyrus, and then headed on his journey home. Sadly for Goran, he encountered another giant. The giant overpowered him, and Goran, being emotional, didn’t fight back. The giant let him go, and Zeus, impressed by his friendship and loyalty, healed Goran, and gave him even more supernatural powers, such as withstanding
