Ronald Reagan was the 40th presidents of the United States of America, he was an actor. Ronald was born on February 6, 1911 in Tampico, Illinois, and he died June 5, 2004 in Los Angeles, California. Ronald wanted to be in the entertainment, he did so by being in more than 50 films. In 1940, he married an actress named Jane Wyman, he had a daughter and they also adopted in 1948. Reagan served in World War II; he had trouble eyesight, so on during his time in the army he most of his time making training films. Regan married again to Nancy Davis in 1952. Ronald Reagan became president at the age of 69, he is our oldest presidents on record. On March 30, 1981, 25-year-old John Hinckley Jr. opened fire on U.S. President Ronald Reagan just outside the Washington Hilton Hotel. President Reagan was hit by one bullet, which punctured his lung. Three others were also injured in the shooting. On March 30, 1981 Ronald Reagan was at Hilton Hotel in Washington D.C where he had finished his speech to a group of trade unionists, as he was walking to the door he got shot by a 25 year old Hinckley Jr. The bullet hit his lung, and three other people were injured by the shooting.
