On November 1st, 2007, Meredith Kercher was supposedly murdered by her roommate, Amanda Knox, Amanda’s boyfriend, Raffaele Sollecito, and both Knox’s and Kercher’s acquaintance, Rudy Guede. Meredith was found on her floor, in Meredith and Amanda’s shared room, covered by her comforter. She was found naked with a deep neck wound. Police were quick to accuse Meredith’s roommate as her murderer and found evidence that showed this could have been a three person murder. Raffaele Sollecito, was found as a possible suspect as well, especially because a knife with Meredith’s DNA on it was found in his apartment. While waiting to be question by police, she was making out with Sollecito and doing handstands in the hallways. She exhibited a very positive, upbeat behavior, which is usually abnormal after a murder is announced. Also, Amanda let it slip that Meredith’s throat was slit, even though that information was kept away from her and the body was kept covered from public eye, including Amanda and Sollecito. He was sentenced to a sixteen year sentence. Rudy’s DNA was found inside Meredith, his handprint and sneaker print in her blood, and he was linked to the feces in the toilet. Also, many people found it suspicious that he immediately fled to Germany after her murder. Two years after the murder, Amanda and Raffaele were also found guilty of murder and sentenced to twenty or more years. In 2011, they acted on an appeal, found not guilty, and were released. From 2013 to 2014, they were put back on trial, Amanda was sentenced to twenty eight and a half years in prison and Raffaele was sentenced to twenty five years. Finally, in March of 2015, the case was
