“Runner Runner”
For my paper I have chosen season seventeen the second episode. The name of the episode is called “Runner Runner”. This case was a very devastating one. It took place in a small city right off the Gulf of Mexico with a population 192,904. Mobile, Alabama is the original home of Mardi Gras. Which started about fifteen years before New Orleans took part. Although this beautiful city has some amazing rich history, it also has some bad. When they arrive a male opens the door and collaborated with the police. Telling them Caesar was driving around in a white ford escape with his friends. Right there they knew they got the right people. While they start to driving up to Caesar's house they came across a white impala going towards Caesar’s house. The passenger door opened up and there goes Caesar started running. The police finally caught up to him and handcuffed him and his accomplice. Someone by the name Anthony Ford, also in his early 20s.
The detectives brought them both for questioning including Anthony’s Child’s mother. She remained anonymous throughout this whole process. At first this female did not want to cooperate with detective but shortly after she gave in and told the detectives what they wanted to hear. After they went to interrogated both suspects; both claimed to have the same alibi. However, after hours of interrogating both, Anthony gave up Caesar. Both men were charged with two counts of capital murder.
This was a very tragic article. Although, the chance of being a victim of a violent crime is 1 in 144. Compared to my town, Paterson has a higher chance of being a victim of a violent crime by 1 in 131. This information can be found in the website neigborhoodscout.com.
