Not only was this the night he escaped his capture, but possible murder as well. Here, it is apparent that Gouzenko’s claims in no means were taken lightly after his defection. Thus began the moment Gouzenko’s life was constantly in danger. After this incident, Gouzenko and his family were granted political asylum, a human right that is not just given to any refugee.
CNN nominee Daniel Ivankovich is a man who is willing to step out and help his community by reaching out to those in need. Daniel is an orthopedic surgeon who wants to “heal Chicago’s mean streets one patient at a time”. Dr. Ivankovich’s main focus is to help the community in a different way than just helping the one’s who need medical care as he has witnessed terrible things in his community for 20 years. Dr. Ivankovich says it is not only the crime rates that make the living issues tough, but also the medical side of things. Dr. Daniel Ivankovich wants to reach out to the people who cannot seek medical attention since they do not have money to pay for it.
Raskolnikov is a very intelligent, prideful man, So much so that the very thought of leaving his house in tattered clothes made him anxious. Raskolnikov also refuses to go to his tutoring job because of this. despite these facts, Raskolnikov has little care for the people and the world around him believing himself to be above them because of his intelligence.

With no experience with foreign policy, he was in charge of ending the war as quickly as possible. The war with Germany was nearly over when he became president.
The second way to minimize a person’s need for closure is hanging out with friends. People who just experienced a broken relationship often engulf by a mountain of questions and the mountain of questions looks like a black hole sucking them inside it. For example, a young girl just broke up with her boyfriend. She tells her friends that she will get closure with him; however, she always stays at home and sinking in the ambiguity. Can she get closure by staying at home?
Alyona Ivanovna, the old pawnbroker, is barely human and therefore repellant. Many people who go to her for loans complain that “she always has money to lay out,” but she cheats people by refusing to give them a fair price for the objects that people want to pawn. In addition, “if payment was only one day overdue, the pledge would be lost.” To strengthen the reliability of the opinions of the people, not only does the author, Dostoevsky, include a scene her stinginess towards Raskolnikov, but he also later includes side commentary from random others. The more negative feedback that we receive from characters remarking about her, the more we end up believing the argument that she exploits others during desperate times.
Mikhail Furtado was the name of Indian guy who killed himself just because he was worried about his 12th exam. He said he spend twenty years of his life under poverty, and end up his carrier by hanging on the room. He shared his story to the media before he commit a suicide. He said he was desperate because he was having a family support problem and hard to focus on his sturdy. He also said he had a problem with his girlfriend and his parent did not understand about his relationship.
Raskolnikov is a man who believes that he is above morality, and that he can justify committing murder based on his own moral beliefs. He believes that the ends justify the means, and that the murder of the pawnbroker will ultimately lead to a greater good. However, as the novel progresses, Raskolnikov's guilt and conscience begin to catch up with him, leading him to become increasingly morally corrupt. He becomes paranoid and isolated, consumed by his own guilt and fear of being caught. The novel illustrates the destructive effects of moral corruption, as Raskolnikov's actions lead to his downfall.
