SATS Foundational Principles

One of the SATS's foundational principles is Spirit-led. This is a principle that I embrace for my life and ministry. The Spirit-led opening paragraph on SATS' website says: "True theology is anchored in a Trinitarian understanding. Since this is the case, we should hold a very high view of the Holy Spirit and his role in our theological formation" (SATS 2017:§1.2.3).

I believe that through the Holy Spirit a person is born again (John 3: 5-8, Titus 3:5), receives the gift of eternal life (Galatians 6:8), can live according to the will of God (Romans 8:6-10), and understands the Scripture and the works of God (1 Corinthians 2:9-14).

Jesus talked to His disciples in John 16:12-15 about the Spirit of truth, who will guide them into all the truth. Based on these verses, Steven Cole (2015) says that Holy Spirit is truth-centered, Christ-centered and Christ-glorifying.

I have a huge need for a Spirit-led life. I need God the Holy Spirit to continue to guide me in the truth of God, to lead and empower me, in my life and ministry, to live righteously and minister to others. I believe that the Holy Spirit is working same as He did on the day of Pentecost and believers can be filled by the Holy Spirit and their works to be accompanied by miracles and various gifts, in order to glorify God.

As I will continue my studies, I am praying and trust that God through the power of the Spirit will guide me in my studies and will help and lead me into His
